ADHEAR brings the benefits of bone conduction hearing without any surgery. A small adhesive adapter sits behind the ear, and the audio processor simply clicks onto it. MED-EL describes it as the only non-implanted bone conduction device that puts no pressure on the skin.

How it works

The processor’s microphones pick up sound and turn it into vibrations. The adapter passes these vibrations to the bone behind the ear, which carries them to the inner ear. In single-sided deafness, sound from the deaf side is sent to the hearing ear.

Comfortable for every age

Because nothing presses on the skin and there is no headband, ADHEAR is comfortable to wear all day and easy to hide under hair. It is suitable for all ages, which makes it a gentle option for children.
